Making a wish is a coping strategy because you are engaging in thinking about how to make your situation better and putting yourself in a better place mentally and emotionally.
It makes people feel good to do something kind for some one else, and kindness can help in relaxation and spiritual well being.
Do not have any support people, community, or professionals? It's okay, you can start growing a support system at any time in your life by asking for help. Someone will be glad you asked for help and happy to listen.
